Expert Stewardship & Engagement

We screen your portfolio against international norms, engage with the companies that breach them, and document every step. Our analysts do the analysis. You get the record.

01The offering

Thematic engagement
Structured engagement on a theme you choose: tax transparency, human rights, net-zero transition, biodiversity or governance. Same method as norms engagement, aimed at one topic.
Voting
Voting recommendations for every shareholder meeting in your portfolio, based on your voting policy. You vote. We prepare and record.
Reporting
Quarterly and annual reports on screening results, engagement progress and voting. Ready for your board, your clients and your regulators.
API and data access
All screening results, scores and engagement records through an API and a web dashboard. Connect them to your own portfolio systems.
Your methodology
If you have your own responsible investment policy, we apply it. Your rules, our analysis, one record.

02The record

Reporting comes from the record.

Every dialogue is logged, theme coded and linked to its evidence. We build the quarterly and annual reports from that record, ready for PRI and Stewardship Code filings, and every figure in them traces to a source.

Stewardship report · Q3

Assembled from the record

Twelve engagements in dialogue across four themes. Five milestones advanced this quarter, three commitments falling due, every vote cast under the mandate’s own policy. Each line in the report opens to the meeting note, the letter or the filing behind it.

03The people

And people carry it to the board.

Every programme has a named steward who has spent years in these meetings. They put the questions to the company in your name, and log what was promised.

04The evidence

Engagement changes companies. The effect is measured.

The causal literature on engagement is young and it is consistent. Engagement moves targets, boards and risk, and the measured effects are largest at the companies most coverage misses.

GPIF & UTEcon · 2024

26,792 engagements evaluated against matched controls by the world’s largest pension fund. Climate engagements cut Scope 2 intensity and raised price to book. Virtually none showed negative effects.

Hoepner et al. · Review of Finance

Successful engagement cuts a holding’s value at risk by roughly 9 percent of a standard deviation. Environmental incidents fall 26 percent afterwards.

Shibata & Suzuki · ECGI 2026

Engagement effects are strongest at smaller companies, precisely where coverage is thinnest today. The largest 200 holdings averaged ten dialogues a year. Below rank 400, three.
